Olivia is a Junior studying Chemical and Biological Engineering on the pre-med track. Outside of PBMES, Olivia is a volunteer at Penn Medicine Princeton Health, the Program Chair for the Princeton Blood Drive, and a member of the Joseph Group, where she studies the influence of small molecules on intracellular condensates. She also loves running and is a beginner boxer!

Hi everyone! My name is Sabreen Alam, and I am a sophomore majoring in Chemical and Biological Engineering with minors in Computer Science and Finance. On campus, I am Co-President of Princeton’s Undergraduate Chemical Society and Vice President of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Chapter. Looking forward to meeting you all!

My name is Kylie Cyhn and I’m currently a senior CBE undergraduate student. I lived in the Philippines my whole life and have a dog named Cookie. I’m excited to be in BMES as the treasurer! 🙂

Outreach Chair: Zaighum Nagra

Hi! I am majoring in MAE with certificates in bioengineering and robotics, and currently working @ CohenLab. My research interests include biomaterials, biomechanical applications of medical technologies as well as prosthesis. My hobbies include swimming, art, and playing my violin.

Technology Chair: Sophie Gao

Class Year: 2028

Sophie is a sophomore studying Chemical and Biological Engineering on the premed track. Beyond PBMES, she is Vice President of Princeton Undergraduate Chemical Society and Publicity Chair for the Princeton Society of Women Engineers and Princeton Asian American Students Association. For fun, she is part of Princeton Robotics Club’s Bionic Team, where they worked on creating a myoelectric prosthetic hand last semester, and she occasionally practices Chinese sword dance in the HUA Dance Group!

Treasurer: Emma Hsiao

Class Year: 2028

Emma is a member of the Class of 2028, studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In addition to her involvement with PBMES, she actively participates in several campus organizations, including the Princeton University Energy Association, the Princeton Entrepreneurship Club, and the Undergraduate Student Government. In her free time, Emma enjoys playing the piano, composing, and golfing, and she is also part of both the Ballroom Dance Club and the Chapel Choir at Princeton.

Upperclass Representative: David Kwon

Class Year: 2026

David is a Senior majoring in Molecular Biology on the pre-med track. He loves all areas of science and is always striving to apply what he has learned to help others and contribute to the real world. He is a member of the Jonikas Lab, where he is working to engineer a carbon-fixing organelle into land plants to enhance photosynthetic efficiency. Outside of school, he enjoys reading and going to the gym.

Underclassmen Representative: Nicole Muradov

Nicole is a sophomore studying Chemical and Biological Engineering and intending to minor in Global Health and Health Policy. Outside of PBMES, she is active in Engineers Without Borders. She also enjoys spending time outside, hiking, and baking!
